Crystals from Swarovski (00)
Manufactured in Austria, Crystals from Swarovski (formerly called STRASS or Elements) are the highest quality decorative crystals in the world. This level now uses a formula that is 100% lead free, compared to the 30% lead content of STRASS, but it retains the same superb optical clarity, purity and brilliance. The fire which causes all the prismatic colors is the result of the many facets and the way these crystals are precisely machine-cut and polished, and it is not just from the high lead content as was previously thought. These beautiful crystals are also given an invisible coating that repels dust to help them stay clean longer and be easier to clean. Each of these premium crystals is inspected for flaws, so you know each is as close to perfect as possible. SPECTRA® CRYSTAL by Swarovski (11)
This is an alternate high quality crystal trim also made in Austria by the famed manufacturer. These crystal prisms are precisely cut and polished in a similar way to the flagship Crystals. They are also 100% lead free. The differences between the two Swarovski lines are that SPECTRA® crystals are made with a different formula, often have fewer facets, are not coated to repel dust and are not individually inspected as rigorously which allows them to be priced more competitively.
Imperial™ Crystal (22)
This popular choice of trim is usually the default selection for most James R. Moder products. This option uses a combination of high quality Crystal from: Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Regal™ Hand-Cut and Polished Crystal from other sources. Imperial™ Crystal is a way to combine great crystals for superb look at an excellent price. Also available are the Imperial™ Color Crystals such as Golden Teak.
